Golden Dream is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo. It ran from September 27, 1993 to May 14, 1994. It was written by Marcílio Moraes and directed by Reynaldo Boury, with co-direction by Roberto Naar. The action takes place in the city of Curitiba. It was also broadcast in Portugal.

The plot revolves around the romantic conflict involving four young people who have known each other since childhood. Antônio Mourão, an orphan raised by Father Ovídio, has two dreams in life: to graduate in Medicine – he has just passed the entrance exam – and to marry Rebeca, one of the daughters of his godfather, the Protestant pastor Bilac. Antônio and Rebeca end up separated thanks to the interference of Lívia, the youngest daughter of Pastor Bilac. Sensual and deceitful, she dreams of abandoning her life in São Tomás de Trás, working as a lacemaker and attending her father's church services, to live in the big city. She sees in Antônio a chance to fulfill her desire and, even knowing about the romance between the young man and her sister, she orchestrates a situation to seduce him and manages to get pregnant by him. The two are then forced to marry and move to the capital.

Dracula: The Series is a short-lived syndicated children's horror television series developed by Glenn Davis and William Laurin, about Count Dracula (aka Alexander Lucard; A. It aired from September 27, 2001 until May 17, 2003, lasting two seasons. It featured unprecedented filming from the actual CIA headquarters. The show was controversial regarding its exploration of current international affairs and its treatment of the ethical conflicts inherent in intelligence work. Beckner's pilot script, written in March 2001, posited a re-invented CIA tasked with a "War on Terror" after Osama Bin Laden's Al Qaeda terrorist organization plots a lethal attack on the west. The pilot was to premiere at CIA Headquarters on September 18, 2001 and set to air on CBS September 21, 2001, however, the actual 9/11 attacks convinced the network to hold the pilot and instead air a later episode. That first episode was aired later as the third episode of the first season. The September 11, 2001 terrorist events changed the way Americans viewed topical entertainment and "The Agency", at the time, was one of the most topical offering on network television. The producers of the series quickly responded to this new American perspective on world affairs, but CBS chose to cancel the show shortly after the second season's final episode.
